The 'Get Into Golf' National Skills Challenge has been developed for young golfers and is designed to be challenging at all levels, but above all it is intended to be FUN. The Challenge covers 5 golfing disciplines, putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play & full swing - each discipline has 2 Challenge activities, making 10 in total. Information about the Pilot Regional Finals 2009 has now been added to the National Skills Challenge website - www.getintogolf.org/skills
The 2 pilot events are taking place in Yorkshire and the South West.
As detailed in the text the Regional Pilots will have no impact upon qualification for the National Final.
Information will be emailed out to the clubs registered for Skills within these regions to advise them of what is happening. A press release will also be distributed.
